Does it not take too much time

Cloth diapers do not take significantly more time - they add only 2-4 washes a week. Modern cuts are as simple as disposables.

What about hygiene

The stool of breastfed babies is water-soluble and can go straight into the washing machine. For older babies, remove solid stool into the toilet first, then wash the diaper.

What about leaks

Leaks most often point to a poor fit, too little absorbency or a worn-out diaper. Once you find the right cut and size, leaks usually stop.

Do they hold up overnight

Yes. For the night choose more absorbent materials (hemp, bamboo, wool) or add an absorbent insert. Night diapers are designed for a longer stretch of dry skin.

What about odours and looks

Properly washed diapers do not smell any more than urine. Modern cloth diapers are slim and colourful and hide nicely under clothing.
